اختصاصی Benefits Of Using Aromatherapy Soy Candles

Scented candles are widely used in creating a relaxing environment either in the home or in the office. However, all natural candles are gaining in popularity as well. This is because people nowadays prefer the healthier and naturally made candles than the traditional candles that are made from paraffin wax. The essential oils that go with these vegetable wax candles have been proven to provide not only relaxation and rejuvenation but also improvement in physical and emotional health and overall well being of a person. The following are list of benefits of using aromatherapy soy candles compared to the customary candles.

Typical candles are made from petroleum-based wax. Buing these candles releases toxins that are considered to be carcinogenic. Since their smoke is toxic, there is a tendency that the smoke inhaled may damage the lungs and may cause lung cancer.  On the other hand, aromatherapy soy everyday candle do not release toxic smoke as they are made from vegetable-based wax. They are composed of natural waxes primarily soy wax and together with other natural essential oils.
You can actually save efficiently from using soy candles, as they are much cheaper than petroleum candles.  They are less expensive because aromatherapy soy candles are renewable while paraffin wax is not. Petroleum products need to be imported which is why they are more expensive.
Since soy wax is a soft wax, melted aromatherapy soy candles are easy to clean whereas paraffin is not. With soy candles, all you need is warm water and soap to clean it up while paraffin candles will give you a hard time because you have to scrub or brush it off to remove it completely.
The smoke of candles made from paraffin will leave a stain to any surface where the smoke is concentrated and it leaves black soot while soybean candles will not. Wicks used in aromatherapy soy candles are natural cotton and do not contain metals as some candles do. They will bu cleanly producing less or no smoke or soot at all. Another advantage for soy candles is that they bu longer than paraffin adding a plus to its value.

اختصاصی How to Use Ear Candles

There is constantly much discussion over the real benefits of ear candles and their safety. However we must acknowledge that there are a large number of individuals who have been using ear candles for many years, who are quite used to the therapy and have built up valuable hands on experience of the treatment.

With any therapy, controversial or not there are many who are curious about the process and willing to try for themselves so that may draw their own conclusions. With this in mind it is important to understand the basic measures and precautions that should be taken at all times, particularly with ear Candles, so that the maximum effect and enjoyment can be gained in a safe environment. Understanding the exact steps to take and preparation is just as important as the therapy itself, especially before your first treatment.

As matter of course you should only purchase Ear Candles which provide full detailed instructions on how to use ear candles. These should be read carefully and raise any questions prior to commencement if you are not sure - the instructions are there for a reason. Indeed most ear scented candle are now regulated by appropriate govement health bodies and one should check that the brand you are using have the correct registration in place. Regulations will differ from country to country depending on legislation but the majority will also have strict policy guidelines on how marketing material is worded on the packaging and a registration number is most likely required.

Again make sure that the candles you are using comply with local regulations. One such regulation would be the extent of what medical claims have been made. With ear candles it is generally the case that no medical claims can be made which would mislead consumers, particularly where no medical evidence is in place. A therapy such as ear candling would be regarded as relaxation or for wellness purposes. If you believe wild medical claims are being made quite blatantly then in all likelihood the brand do not have the correct regulatory guidelines in place. These brands should most definitely be avoided.

اختصاصی Making Personalised Candles - For Weddings and Naming Ceremonies

Making personalised candles for weddings and other events can be a very fulfilling experience, so hopefully we can give you some tips that we have leat to enable you to make some lovely candles for your special event.

One of the main problems I had when first started out was finding the correct information. There is plenty of information from people in the USA, but not so much in Australia or they are reluctant to share their knowledge.
I have many years of soy candle making but felt my knowledge had to include making personalised wedding candles.

I'm happy to share information that I have.

The method used in most YouTube videos was to print onto tissue paper, then to melt the customized Christmas candle allowing the wax to soak into the tissue paper which made the paper stick to the candle. By soaking the tissue paper it gives the impression that the decal is embedded in the wax.

I find this method quite tedious and don't like the idea of using tissue paper. I prefer to use the water slide decal paper, then dip the whole pillar candle into melted paraffin wax.

The method I found most successful was simply to dip the candle just once in paraffin wax to give a very thin coating of wax. Dipping more than once will mean the decal you have used to personalise will not be as clear.

Now I know that people may say that they don't like paraffin candles, but when you think about it, most unity candles, christening candles do not actually get used for very long or sometimes not at all. They are generally used as a symbol of the ceremony.

    So, what do you need?

1/ The pillar candles and any size that you like will do. The most popular sizes for wedding or unity candles are the 20 - 25 cm tall candles. This height allows enough room for the candle to be personalised with text such as names, dates, venues and space for embellishments such as ribbons or adhesive "bling".

اختصاصی Why I Choose to Make "Soy" Candles

I always seem to get the question "How did you get started in making soy candles?" Yes, that's what a lot of people ask me, and the real story is kinda funny. After rebuilding my accounting career (from pursing a performing career), and working tremendous hours, with high-stress, I needed a creative outlet. I started making paraffin candles again. This is something I've done on and off for over twenty years. I even took some beading classes. I leaed how to knot pearls, and started making tons of jewelry. I went back to the bead shop in the Heights, where I took the class through Leisure Leaing University, to buy some beads. One of the owners asked me if I was interested in teaching a candle class. She said that the President of Leisure Leaing University in Houston was looking for someone to teach candle making. I thought, okay, that might be fun. So, I called and signed up to teach the class. The original teacher was going out on medical leave due to a upcoming surgery. So, I called the teacher, and she literally told me how teach the class and how to make soy candles.

This was back in 2005, and I really didn't know anything about soy succulent candle  at that time. I asked what soy candles were, and why soy was better. She told me about soy being natural, renewable, comes from soybeans grown right here in the U.S.A., bus longer, bus cleaners, uses cotton wicks, easy to clean-up, environmentally friendly and non-toxic. Okay, I thought, I'll try this, because it sounds fun. I wasn't totally convinced what soy candles were about, and I usually have to find out for myself, if the claims were true.

So, I purchased a 50 lb box of soy wax, the jelly jars, wicks, dyes, a crock pot, plastic 2 cup measuring cups, and other supplies. I even had to bring ice-cubes to speed up the candle cooling time, so the students could walk away with a formed candle within a 3 hour class. The former instructor told me to buy a Presto pot, but at that time, I couldn't locate one at any of the super centers, so I bought a crock pot.
